West End Community House (Community House) is a community centre that provides a range of services and activities for residents living within the inner southern suburbs of Brisbane. West End Community House is a dynamic place, involving many individuals spanning the social strata of a strong and diverse community, and building on a deserved reputation for grass roots action and involvement. The services provided by West End Community House currently include community development activities, a regional tenancy advice and advocacy service, a community information and outreach service and a community meeting space. These services cumulatively reach many thousands of residents from our region each year, many of whom are amongst the most disadvantaged members of our community. After commencing at 111 Vulture Street in 1986, Community House has been established in its own premises at 4 Norfolk Road since 1989, a heritage listed premises in the heart of West End.
